Senior Accountant / Full‑Charge Controller (Remote)

About the role

Retrouvai is a globally recognized luxury fine‑jewelry brand seeking a Senior Accountant / Full‑Charge Controller to own the entire accounting function. Working remotely, you will report directly to the founders and ensure the financial foundation of a fast‑growing, design‑driven company is clean, accurate, and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and record all financial transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Perform monthly bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Manage full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, including invoicing and collections.
• Own the month‑end close process and prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Deliver a concise monthly reporting package to leadership, highlighting key trends and variances.
• Run payroll through QuickBooks Online and Gusto, ensuring accurate tax filings.
• Oversee inventory accounting, track cost of goods sold and gross margins, and ensure proper cost flow to the financial statements.
• Establish scalable accounting processes, improve workflows, and coordinate with an external CPA for year‑end tax filings.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting or full‑charge bookkeeping experience.
• Proven ability to manage the full monthly close independently.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
• Experience in inventory‑based or product businesses is strongly preferred.
