Retail Service Specialist

About the role

The Retail Service Specialist supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers by delivering excellent customer service, overseeing store operations, and stepping in as shift manager when needed. This role is focused on both retail and professional customers in an auto‑parts environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead store team members to provide outstanding service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer‑service programs, telephone etiquette, and order processing (online, ship‑to‑store, hub transfers, etc.).
• Handle special orders, outside purchases, returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages, delegate merchandising tasks, and monitor schedule adherence.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling, deposit preparation, security checks, and alarm management.
• Complete any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Strong communication abilities.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair.
• ASE Certification (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish (highly desired).
