Quantitative Developer

About the role

WorldQuant is looking for a Quantitative Developer to design, code, and deploy proprietary systems that turn research ideas into production‑ready financial strategies. You will work closely with quantitative researchers, data scientists, and engineers in a collaborative, intellectually driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high‑performance tools and platforms for systematic trading.
• Collaborate with researchers to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver robust code.
• Develop, test, and debug software in Linux environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Manage deliverables and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development workflow.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, OOP, threading, and multiprocessing.
• Clean, concise coding style with a focus on maintainability.
• Proven problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to non‑technical audiences.
