Principal Sales Engineer – Airline Solutions

About the role

Sabre is seeking a Principal Sales Engineer to lead pre‑sales activities for its airline portfolio, covering PSS, Offer Management, Order Management, Dynamic Pricing, Ancillary Retailing and broader modernization initiatives. The role partners with sales, account management, product and delivery teams to drive global strategic pursuits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, solution design, RFP responses, demos and executive presentations.
• Provide strategic direction throughout sales pursuits and ensure smooth hand‑off to delivery teams.
• Collaborate with product management to align offerings and articulate value propositions.
• Track sales engineering metrics, analyze data and optimise performance across the Americas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
• 5‑7 years of progressively senior leadership in airline IT or revenue management.
• Proven pre‑sale engagement experience at the C‑level and ability to influence cross‑functional global teams.
• Strong business acumen with excellent oral and written communication.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Pricing & Revenue Management solutions.
• Knowledge of Sabre or competing airline IT platforms.
• Expertise in Offer Management, Order Management, Dynamic Pricing and Ancillary Retailing.
• Deep understanding of the aviation market landscape and modern retailing trends.
