About the role

The Post Fixture Operator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating post‑fixture activities to ensure smooth and efficient tanker voyages. Based in Montevideo, this full‑time, on‑site role involves close interaction with clients, ship masters, and agents to guarantee operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all voyage documentation and records.
• Monitor loading and unloading processes, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Liaise with clients, ship masters, and agents to address operational issues promptly.
• Resolve day‑to‑day operational challenges and ensure timely execution of post‑fixture tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all regulatory and contractual requirements are met.

Required profile

• Proficiency in operations management, shipping logistics, and coordination of tanker voyages.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, International Business, or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in tanker operations, logistics, or the shipping industry (strong asset).
