Payment Processor (Invoice to Pay)

About the role

Syngenta's Invoice to Pay team is looking for a Payment Processor in Montevideo. The role supports the processing of invoices and payments, working closely with Treasury, O2C, A2R and Tax, and is part of the I2P (invoice-to-pay) function.

Key responsibilities

• Execute payment runs according to operating procedures and internal controls
• Perform manual payments through banking portals (taxes, government entities, international payments) and follow up on approvals with bank signatories
• Record manual payments in the local ERP systems
• Collaborate with Treasury, O2C, A2R and Tax to align and improve payment deliverables
• Support regional and global I2P projects by testing and validating requirements
• Assist internal and external audits and ensure timely remediation of findings
• Handle bank reconciliations across all I2P accounts and propose action plans for open items
• Support internal customers and external stakeholders and maintain high compliance in the I2P process

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant, graduate or advanced student in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• Advanced English proficiency
• Immediate availability; no relocation support provided

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Communication, stakeholder management, collaboration and time management skills
