Medical Science Liaison – Hematology

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specialized in Hematology to join its Oncology team in Montevideo, Uruguay. The MSL will act as a scientific bridge between the company’s innovative treatments and the medical community, fostering informed decision‑making and supporting the adoption of new therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with community and academic healthcare professionals (HCPs) focused on hematology.
• Communicate the scientific value of innovative products, including efficacy, safety, adherence and quality of life, to gain endorsement.
• Shape medical practice during pre‑launch phases by preparing the healthcare environment, engaging principal investigators and facilitating pre‑approval access programs.
• Provide ongoing education, identify barriers to practice change, and support adoption of new knowledge.
• Respond to scientific inquiries from HCPs, investigators and health‑care systems.
• Integrate scientific data into real‑world practice to meet audience needs.
• Identify potential clinical sites and assist with site recruitment in alignment with the therapeutic area leadership.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background in hematology/oncology.
• Experience interacting with physicians and academic researchers.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable information.
