Junior Cook – Riogas

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Cook to join our Riogas dining facility in Montevideo. This position offers the chance to develop your culinary skills in a dynamic, multicultural environment while contributing to high‑quality food service for airline and airport customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to company standards and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
• Assist senior kitchen staff with food preparation, plating, and inventory management.
• Ensure timely service of meals to meet the needs of passengers and staff.

Required profile

• Passion for cooking and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural team.
• Strong focus on quality, discipline and customer service.

Required skills

• Basic food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
