Jefe de Servicio Técnico

About the role

The company seeks a Technical Service Manager to lead its field service team, ensure high‑quality interventions, and continuously improve industrial service processes. This position reports to senior management and works closely with customers and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and develop a team of service technicians.
• Plan and monitor the technical service agenda, optimizing resources and response times.
• Manage maintenance agreements, work orders, and preventive/corrective services.
• Supervise and audit field intervention quality.
• Analyze area indicators and track service, productivity and compliance KPIs.
• Prepare technical and management reports.
• Handle claims, warranties and provide technical support for complex situations.
• Maintain fluid communication with clients, identifying needs and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal areas to ensure proper service execution.
• Evaluate team performance, identify training needs and promote development.
• Propose and implement process improvements to raise service quality.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical, Industrial, Electromechanical Engineering or related fields.
• 3‑5 years of experience leading technical service, industrial maintenance, heavy machinery or field service teams.
• Strong technical knowledge in mechanics, pneumatics and industrial electricity.
• Experience with variable frequency drives, automation and control systems is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage teams, work with KPIs and use ERP/CRM tools.
