iOS Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to join Tata Consultancy Services and support a global financial services client. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications while guiding junior team members and influencing technical direction.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable iOS applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Lead development efforts and contribute to architectural and design decisions.
• Mentor junior developers, promoting independence and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Design.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability.
• Drive technical discussions, evaluating short‑term and long‑term solution trade‑offs.
• Manage the full application lifecycle: development, App Store release, and post‑production support.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services via REST APIs and JSON.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability through testing and optimization.
• Stay current with iOS features, App Store requirements, and industry trends.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Swift, Objective‑C, and the iOS SDK.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks such as SwiftUI (UIKit is a plus).
• Proven ability to build and maintain applications across the full mobile lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, multithreading, and networked mobile apps.
• Familiarity with third‑party libraries, API integrations, and mobile architecture patterns.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum or similar) environments.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and independent work skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
