Global Head of Cloud Alliances

About the role

Canonical is seeking a Global Head of Cloud Alliances to drive business development and partnership strategies with the world’s leading public cloud providers. Reporting to the VP of Global Alliances, this senior leader will shape the company’s cloud partner ecosystem, expand market share, and coordinate joint go‑to‑market initiatives across the Americas and EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute Canonical’s global cloud partner strategy, including forecasting, bookings, and revenue growth.
• Build and nurture executive‑level relationships with major public cloud providers.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to align product, engineering, marketing, and sales efforts for cloud solutions.
• Drive joint technical projects, marketplace offerings, and co‑marketing campaigns.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of cloud partnership deals, from concept through execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale cloud alliance or partnership programs.
• Strong track record of revenue generation and strategic account management.
• Excellent ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple organizations.
• Experience working in a distributed, remote‑first environment.
