Fullstack AI Engineer

About the role

Blend is looking for a versatile Fullstack AI Engineer to help build AI‑powered applications and internal platforms. The role sits at the intersection of backend, frontend and machine‑learning technologies, allowing you to contribute across the entire stack in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop and deploy AI‑driven solutions.
• Implement backend services, APIs and integrations while supporting frontend components as needed.
• Prototype, test and iterate on new AI use cases, including large language model (LLM) applications.
• Contribute reusable engineering patterns, internal tooling and shared components.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and problem‑solving.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving technologies and priorities.
• Comfortable working in collaborative, fast‑paced teams.
• Experience with version control and best‑practice development workflows.

Required skills

• Python development.
• Exposure to React or similar frontend frameworks (optional).
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS (optional).
• Knowledge of Snowflake or data‑warehouse concepts (optional).
• Understanding of AI/LLM applications, prompt engineering or automation tools (optional).
