Full Stack and Backend NodeJS TypeScript Engineer (Senior) – Remote, Latin America

About the role

Bluelight is seeking a senior Full Stack and Backend Engineer to join its rapidly expanding remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact, low‑latency API services and scalable applications that power innovative user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain low‑latency API services on AWS.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party SDKs.
• Implement secure multi‑tenant architectures with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB and Row‑Level Security.
• Write raw SQL, manage schema migrations, and contribute to frontend work using React when needed.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, conduct integration and fault‑injection testing.
• Collaborate with AI coding assistants and ensure code quality through strong testing practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, backend‑focused.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Extreme ownership, client‑focused mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
