Director, Product Design - Connectivity

About the role

Deel is looking for a Director of Product Design to lead the Connectivity experience across its global HR and payroll platform. You will shape how developers, partners, and internal teams interact with Deel’s APIs, partner portal, app store, and AI‑native Ops Connect surface, turning a traditional HR system into an operating system for the world.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the design agenda for all connectivity‑related product surfaces.
• Own the end‑to‑end experience of APIs, developer tools, partner portal, app store, internal admin tools, and Ops Connect.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and ops teams to ensure a cohesive, strategic design language.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary design team, fostering a culture of innovation and user‑centric thinking.
• Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, scalable design solutions that support global growth.

Required profile

• Proven senior design leadership experience, preferably at a SaaS or platform company.
• Strong strategic vision for product ecosystems and the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Track record of delivering high‑impact design for complex, globally‑distributed products.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for building inclusive, user‑focused experiences.
