DevOps Engineer (AWS) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong AWS expertise to join our client’s team remotely from Latin America. You will work side‑by‑side with designers and engineers, delivering reliable, automated infrastructure for AI‑driven products.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into the client’s development team and collaborate daily with designers and engineers.
• Design, implement and maintain Linux‑based infrastructure, including server patching, security and AD integration.
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Docker and Artifactory.
• Automate provisioning with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet or Chef).
• Monitor applications and infrastructure with tools like Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Document processes, version control code with Git and ensure continuous delivery practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps or Systems Engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and take ownership of deliverables.

Required skills

• Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python).
• Database administration (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Java build tools (Maven, Gradle) and Spring framework.
• Node.js environment knowledge.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef.
• Containerization with Docker and artifact management with Artifactory.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Pipelines.
• Monitoring/logging tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Version control with Git.
• AWS services and optional AWS DevOps Engineer certification.
