Databricks Solutions Architect

About the role

Qubika is looking for a Databricks Solutions Architect who combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills and business acumen. You will act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, leading the design and implementation of scalable solutions on the Databricks platform, evangelizing the platform, supporting sales efforts and creating technical content that drives adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Pre-sales engineering: collaborate with sales teams to turn customer needs into scalable Databricks solutions, deliver demos, proof-of-concepts and technical workshops, and build architectural diagrams and pitch decks.
• Thought leadership: write and publish technical blogs, solution guides, notebooks and reusable assets, represent the company at events, meetups and webinars, and work with marketing to turn technical capabilities into clear value propositions.
• Customer enablement: guide clients through implementation plans, data architecture strategies and migration roadmaps, act as the technical liaison between customer engineering teams and Databricks, and help ensure post-sales success.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark or cloud data platforms.
• Solid understanding of data engineering, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and MLflow.
• Experience designing architectures on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, security and cost optimization in modern data stacks.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences, and confident leading customer workshops, executive briefings and technical sales cycles.

Nice to have

• Databricks certifications (e.g. Data Engineer Associate/Professional).
• Prior experience in consulting, pre-sales or developer relations.
• A content portfolio such as GitHub, a blog or conference talks.
