Databricks Solutions Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Databricks Solutions Architect who blends deep technical expertise with strong communication and business acumen. In this position you will act as a trusted advisor, guiding prospects and customers through the design and implementation of scalable solutions on the Databricks platform.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to translate customer needs into Databricks‑based solutions.
• Deliver demos, proof‑of‑concepts, and technical workshops that showcase platform value.
• Create architectural diagrams, pitch decks, and technical content such as blogs, solution guides, and notebooks.
• Represent the company at events, webinars, and meetups with engaging presentations.
• Guide clients through implementation plans, data architecture strategies, and migration roadmaps.
• Serve as the technical liaison between customer engineering teams and Databricks, ensuring post‑sales success.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Databricks, Spark, or cloud data platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts.
• Confidence presenting to technical and executive audiences.
• Creative mindset with a passion for education, enablement, and evangelism.

Required skills

• Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow.
• Python, SQL, data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt).
• Designing architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• CI/CD practices, security considerations, and cost‑optimization in modern data stacks.
