Data Engineer – Azure ETL & Data Management

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Data Engineer to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our master and transactional data assets. The role involves building robust ELT pipelines on the Azure platform and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support enterprise analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and related services.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non‑functional business requirements.
• Automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for scalability.
• Implement data quality best practices, perform data validation, and support data governance frameworks.
• Work with data and analytics experts to enhance system functionality and ensure operational integrity of the analytics platform.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in data transformation, metadata management, and workload orchestration.
• Proven project management abilities, including documentation and implementation of complex data projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data for decision‑making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
