Customer Support Specialist – Fully Remote

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join its fully remote team. You will assist talent using Mercor’s platform, ensuring a smooth application experience and helping resolve technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to support requests from Mercor’s talent pool.
• Tri­age and investigate reported issues using telemetry data, network request inspection, and database queries.
• Troubleshoot common browser problems and other web‑application bugs.
• Consolidate insights and recommend product improvements.
• Create and maintain talent‑facing documentation for frequent questions.
• Communicate replies in clear, near‑perfect English while maintaining a positive tone.

Required profile

• Ability to debug web applications, backed by a CS/Software Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience supporting customers on modern web applications.
• Experience with SaaS‑based products.
• Familiarity with support platforms such as Zendesk, Intercom, Help Scout, Freshdesk, or Crisp.

What we offer

• Contract compensation ranging from $40,000 to $50,000 per year.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
