Android Developer – Mobile Solutions Lead

About the role

TCS is looking for an experienced Android Developer to support a global financial services client. You will design, develop, and lead high‑quality mobile solutions while mentoring junior team members and influencing technical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and modern frameworks.
• Lead development efforts, contribute to architecture and design decisions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best‑practice coding standards.
• Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Design teams.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend services via REST APIs and JSON.
• Drive technical discussions, balancing short‑term and long‑term solutions.
• Support the full application lifecycle: development, release, and post‑production support.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability through testing and monitoring.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum or similar).
