Senior Golang Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to join our talent network and work on U.S. client projects remotely from Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go in production environments.
• Work with PostgreSQL for schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, especially using EKS and cloud‑native patterns.
• Contribute to frontend features or bug fixes in Angular, Ionic, or React when needed.
• Own end‑to‑end system reliability, CI/CD pipelines, and production releases.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to boost engineering velocity.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate in fast‑paced, lean teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Strong background in Go and production‑grade backend development.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and AWS (EKS).
• Ability to work across the stack and quickly learn new technologies.
• Experience in high‑growth or lean environments where engineers wear multiple hats.
