Senior Golang Engineer – Remote – Latin America

About the role

Join FullStackFullStack's talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based engagements as a Senior Golang Engineer. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver high‑impact software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go in production environments.
• Create and optimise PostgreSQL schemas, write performant queries, and manage database performance.
• Deploy and operate cloud‑native applications on AWS, with a focus on EKS and related services.
• Contribute to frontend features or bug fixes in Angular, Ionic, or React when needed.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable releases.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to increase engineering velocity.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate in fast‑paced, lean teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience building and operating Go‑based backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design and query optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS infrastructure, especially EKS.
• Ability to work across the stack and take end‑to‑end ownership of systems.
• Experience in high‑growth or lean environments where engineers wear multiple hats.
