About the role
As a Project Developer you will expand Tesla’s Supercharging network across emerging markets in South America. You will identify, negotiate, and close site agreements while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑impact charging projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of new Supercharger site opportunities in South America.
- Maintain relationships with key landlords and prospect potential site hosts.
- Pitch Tesla’s Supercharging proposition, negotiate terms, and close contracts.
- Work with legal counsel to draft and finalize site host agreements.
- Analyse market data and other sources to shape site selection strategy.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve customer experience, cost efficiency, and project timelines.
- Implement and optimise processes to increase productivity.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in a commercial, business‑development or project‑development role.
- Highly autonomous, motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills across diverse audiences.
- Entrepreneurial, data‑driven mindset with a passion for e‑mobility.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently (3‑4 days per week, including overnight stays).
- Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
