Lead Technical Support Engineer – Up to $50K/yr

About the role

Mercor is looking for a Lead Technical Support Engineer to join its remote Customer Success team. You will help talent across Latin America navigate the platform, troubleshoot issues, and improve the overall user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to support requests from Mercor’s talent pool regarding job applications.
• Triage and investigate reported issues by examining telemetry data, inspecting network requests, querying the database, and fixing common browser problems.
• Consolidate insights and recommend product improvements.
• Create and maintain documentation that addresses frequent support questions.
• Communicate with enthusiasm and near‑perfect English in all replies.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, **or** proven experience building modern web applications.
• 2–5 years of experience supporting customers on web‑based SaaS products.
• Familiarity with SaaS product workflows and support platforms.

Required skills

• Debugging web applications (React, Node, Flask, Next.js).
• Using support tools such as Zendesk, Intercom, Help Scout, Freshdesk, or Crisp.
