Staff Android Engineer

About the role

Goods & Services is seeking a Staff Android Engineer to design, build, and deliver medical‑grade mobile applications and SDKs. You will work with senior engineering leadership and cross‑functional teams to create high‑quality, cloud‑based Android solutions for regulated industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
• Collaborate with multiple technology groups to define, design, develop, test, and deploy new features.
• Work with senior developers to build the next‑generation mobile platform supporting patient‑ and device‑centric products.
• Present design proposals to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Write clean, maintainable code, troubleshoot performance issues, and participate in code reviews.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of native Android development experience.
• Proven ability to develop solutions that leverage wireless communications and mobile application technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills within cross‑functional teams.
