Senior Transport & Logistics Expert – Investment Climate Reform

About the Position

NTU International is currently preparing a high-impact proposal for the GIZ Global Gateway Investment Climate Reform (ICR) initiative. We are looking to build a prestigious pool of high-level experts dedicated to helping partner countries enhance their business environments and unlock sustainable private investment through strategic transport and logistics reforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support comprehensive reforms within transport and logistics systems to foster economic growth.
• Identify and analyze critical infrastructural and regulatory bottlenecks hindering efficient trade.
• Provide high-level strategic advice on policies aimed at improving trade corridors and regional connectivity.
• Develop and contribute to integrated transport strategies directly linked to investment attraction and climate reform.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to design and implement actionable investment climate improvements.

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in Transport, Logistics, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in economic policy consulting for government entities.
• At least 7 years of proven expertise in business and investment climate reforms.
• 3 to 5 years of specialized experience in the transport and logistics sector.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working on international development cooperation projects.
• Exceptional command of English (C1 level required).
• Proficiency in French or Spanish (C1 level) is highly desirable.
