Senior Software Engineer (Nest.JS + Angular) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong backend focus and solid Angular experience to help stabilize and extend a legacy system during a critical growth phase. You will work remotely with a fast‑growing technology company that provides flexible storage and logistics solutions, supporting internal back‑office tools and a marketplace mobile app.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js, Nest.js and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain REST or GraphQL APIs for internal tools and marketplace applications.
• Extend and stabilize a legacy codebase, improving reliability, performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact usability and operational improvements.
• Contribute to frontend work when needed using modern Angular (2+).
• Self‑onboard quickly, identify issues, unblock yourself and drive proactive solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full‑stack engineering with a strong backend emphasis.
• Proven ability to work in complex, existing codebases and ramp up independently.
• Proactive mindset, comfortable asking questions and solving problems autonomously.
• Familiarity with AI assistance tools such as Cursor or Claude in daily work.
