Senior Platform Engineer – Cloud Automation & DevSecOps

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Engineering Platform Team of one of the world’s largest automotive services companies. You will drive the design, automation, and security of our developer platform, leveraging AI‑assisted tools to boost productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable GitHub Actions.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Contribute to DevSecOps, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Apply AI development standards with Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Support engineers through design discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Master on planning and delivery.
• Participate in production support and continuous platform improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in software or platform engineering.
• Strong ownership and ability to drive tasks to completion independently.
• Solid proficiency in Python.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, and CI/CD.
• Background in Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Linux.
• Competency in DevSecOps, production operations, and security tooling (SonarQube, CodeQL, Veracode).
• Familiarity with PagerDuty for incident response.
• Daily use of Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot, with understanding of prompt engineering and LLM fundamentals.
• Strong written documentation skills and English proficiency at Upper‑Intermediate level (B2) or higher.
