Salesforce Platform Owner

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for a senior Salesforce Platform Owner to lead the design, development, and scaling of Salesforce solutions that drive strategic business initiatives. The role works closely with global Agile teams, combining declarative and programmatic development to deliver high‑quality, innovative outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable Salesforce solutions using both declarative tools and custom Apex development.
• Develop, maintain, and optimise Apex code, including triggers, batch, queueable, and schedulable classes.
• Implement integrations with external systems via REST and SOAP callouts.
• Create and enhance Lightning user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components.
• Leverage Flows, validation rules, approval processes, and formula fields to meet business requirements.
• Ensure system performance and scalability through query optimisation and adherence to governor limits.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce development standards.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout solution design and delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong technical depth in Apex, asynchronous processing, and Lightning development.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable mentoring team members.
• Experience working in Agile environments and participating in solution design discussions.
