Refrigeration Technician (Category B License) – Paysandú

About the role

We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician to join a leading commercial refrigeration company in Paysandú. The role involves performing technical visits, maintaining and repairing refrigeration equipment for commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site technical visits to commercial establishments with refrigeration units.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults in client installations.
• Repair electrical components, lighting systems and related elements.
• Coordinate the transfer of equipment to the workshop when necessary.
• Achieve a high first‑visit resolution rate.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration (diagnosis, maintenance, repair).
• Category B driver’s licence.
• Knowledge of strong welding (braze) applied to refrigeration circuits.
• Understanding of electricity and electronics as applied to refrigeration equipment.
• Experience handling refrigerants R290, R600a and CO₂, including charging, recovery and manipulation.
• Completed high‑school education.
• Residence in Paysandú.
