Project Manager – IT Services

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Uruguay is seeking a Project Manager for IT Services to support a global customer. The role operates in a dynamic, hybrid environment and requires strong coordination across business, functional and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain constant and effective communication with managers, leaders and subject‑matter experts across various domains.
• Manage cross‑project risks, issues and decisions, driving them to closure.
• Align technology initiatives with business strategy through proactive partnership at all levels.
• Run projects and programs independently, setting up milestones, progress reports and strategic deliverables.
• Lead strategic programs while executing tactical project‑level activities.
• Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to senior executive teams.
• Address escalations, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement problem‑solving solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related business or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Professional project management certification (PMP) preferred.
• Experience with cloud technologies and ServiceNow is preferred.
• ITIL/ITSM certification and AWS certification are considered a plus.
• Demonstrated project management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
