Product Specialist – Cattle (Uruguay)

About the role

We are looking for a Product Specialist to be Halter’s on‑the‑ground presence as we launch our cattle‑monitoring solution in Uruguay. In this pioneering role you will work directly with early‑adopter producers, deploying our collars and app on farms and ensuring the technology delivers immediate value.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to farms across Uruguay to install and configure Halter’s cattle collars and mobile application.
• Build strong relationships with pioneering producers, understand their grazing practices and gather feedback on product performance.
• Communicate field insights clearly to product and engineering teams in New Zealand to guide product improvements.
• Collaborate with commercial teams in South America to align product delivery with market needs.
• Provide on‑site support and training to ensure producers can use the system effectively.

Required profile

• Passionate about agriculture, livestock and sustainable grazing.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, high‑energy environment with frequent travel.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to translate field observations into actionable product recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
