Principal Optimization Engineer

About the role

As a Principal Optimization Engineer you will join Aven Hospitality’s Enterprise Architecture team to drive customer value realization across our hospitality commerce platform. You will act as a technical leader, guiding both product optimization and customer success initiatives while collaborating with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own onboarding processes for new customers and internal colleagues, closing knowledge gaps and promoting continuous learning.
• Partner with commercial, operational, and product teams to build and maintain relationships that enable effective solution delivery.
• Define industry benchmarks and success models to guide optimization strategies.
• Design and execute engagement strategies that position Aven Hospitality as a leader in hospitality commerce and distribution technology.
• Provide consultancy to customers, identifying barriers to success and delivering solutions that drive revenue and renewal growth.
• Support internal teams in delivering customer success and reporting performance metrics.
• Foster strong cross‑functional relationships to expand business outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in optimization engineering or a similar senior technical role within the hospitality or travel technology sector.
• Strong ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across commercial, operational, and product functions.
• Track record of driving customer value, revenue growth, and successful renewals.
