About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Technician to join a leading road construction company in Montevideo. The role involves maintaining and repairing heavy road machinery and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment such as graders, excavators, loaders, and road recyclers, both in the workshop and on site.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic scanners and technical manuals.
• Document all work performed, parts used, and diagnostic results clearly and accurately.
• Collaborate with supervisors and peers to resolve issues efficiently under pressure.

Required profile

• Formal training as a Mechanic, Electromechanic or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience maintaining heavy road machinery and automatic‑transmission trucks.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electro‑hydraulic systems.
