Lead Platform Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to join the Engineering Platform Team of one of the world’s largest automotive services companies. You will own the design and delivery of reusable developer automation, cloud infrastructure, and secure engineering enablement, while driving AI‑assisted development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable GitHub Actions for the organization.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Lead DevSecOps initiatives, ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Establish AI development standards with Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Mentor engineers through architecture guidance, design discussions, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum Master on planning and delivery.
• Participate in production support and continuous platform improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software or platform engineering.
• At least 1 year of proven technical leadership and mentoring.
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Strong experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Linux.
• Hands‑on experience with GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, and CI/CD tooling.
• Background in DevSecOps and security tools such as SonarQube, CodeQL, and Veracode.
• Familiarity with PagerDuty for incident response.
• Daily use of Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot, with knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM fundamentals.
• Excellent written documentation skills and English proficiency (B2+).
