Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript & Node.js)

About the role

Applaudo is looking for a senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus on TypeScript and Node.js. The role is a 9‑month contract where you will own end‑to‑end delivery of high‑performance web applications, working closely with US‑based stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs (REST & GraphQL) with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and security.
• Build and optimise data‑intensive processes, complex SQL queries, and third‑party integrations.
• Develop and maintain React and Next.js front‑end interfaces, especially data‑heavy components such as dashboards, tables, and visualisations.
• Deploy and operate services in serverless environments (AWS Lambda, Vercel) and manage caching, background jobs, and asynchronous processing.
• Write clean, well‑tested code, conduct code reviews, and ensure high code‑quality standards.

Required profile

• 6+ years of full‑stack development experience with a strong backend orientation.
• Proactive, curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguous requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
