DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & SRE

About the role

TCS is looking for an experienced DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to support a major global customer. You will design, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code.

Key responsibilities

• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies and version‑control best practices.
• Design, develop and maintain automation tools, micro‑services and platform extensions.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform to provision cloud resources.
• Continuously improve automation for provisioning, configuration management and deployments.
• Upgrade and integrate DevOps tools while ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot incidents and ensure high availability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles supporting large‑scale platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and IaC principles.
• Strong background in Kubernetes, containerisation and cloud environments (AWS or GCP, Azure a plus).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Shell) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Spinnaker.
• Excellent troubleshooting, incident management and documentation skills.
