About the role
Supermercados El Dorado is looking for a motivated individual to join its meat department in Maldonado. The position offers the chance to learn and grow within the meat sector while working in a dynamic, customer‑focused team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to customers visiting the meat counter.
- Assist in the preparation, cutting and conditioning of meat products.
- Restock and ensure proper display of meat items.
- Maintain cleanliness, order and hygiene standards in the work area.
- Support operational tasks related to the meat department.
- Follow company procedures for food handling, safety and quality.
Required profile
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Assertive communication and strong customer orientation.
- Result‑oriented mindset.
- Availability for rotating shifts.
- Residency in Maldonado.
- Valid identity card, health card and food‑handling certification.
- Previous experience in a butcher shop or food handling is valued but not mandatory.
