Automation Tester Engineer

About the role

TCS is looking for an Automation Tester Engineer to join a fast‑paced, collaborative environment where technology and business intersect. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality software through robust automation across web, API, data pipelines and enterprise platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test solutions using Selenium across Java, C#, Salesforce and ETL stacks.
• Analyse functional and technical specifications to define test strategies and coverage.
• Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks supporting scalable testing.
• Create automated scripts for web applications, APIs, data pipelines and enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts and stakeholders to ensure clear requirements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration and end‑to‑end testing, including data integrity validation.
• Implement and manage Test Data Management (TDM) to ensure reliable test environments.
• Support Salesforce UI and backend testing where applicable.
• Log, track and retest defects to resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide clear reporting on test execution and quality metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Automation Tester or QA Engineer in complex, multi‑technology environments.
• Detail‑oriented, quality‑driven and able to adapt to varying testing needs.
• Strong collaboration skills within global, cross‑functional teams.
• Comfortable working in an Agile, multi‑initiative setting.
