About the role

The Senior Supplier Payments Analyst will lead the end‑to‑end payment process for suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate transactions while supporting continuous improvement of financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control the full supplier payment cycle, guaranteeing compliance with deadlines and internal procedures.
• Perform reconciliations and analyses of supplier current accounts, identifying and regularising any discrepancies.
• Track invoices, due dates, payments and pending items, maintaining up‑to‑date records.
• Serve as the primary contact for suppliers and internal departments to resolve incidents efficiently.
• Prepare and analyse management reports and key performance indicators for the payments area.
• Identify improvement opportunities, propose actions to optimise processes and reduce operational risk.
• Participate in the design and enhancement of payment‑related procedures.
• Provide support to the team on complex cases, contributing to problem‑solving efforts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supplier payments, accounts payable or a similar function.
• Hands‑on experience with account reconciliations and analysis of current accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve payment differences and pending items.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Analytical, organised and results‑oriented mindset.
• Capacity to work autonomously and make decisions within the scope of responsibility.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with suppliers and internal clients.
• Relevant education in Administration, Accounting, Economics or related fields is valued.
• Experience in medium to large companies or high‑volume finance environments is a plus.
