Agentic Software Engineer (OpenAI Codex) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

FullStackFullStack is looking for an Agentic Software Engineer who will work remotely from Latin America on AI‑first development projects. You will join a U.S. client’s team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver production‑ready software using OpenAI Codex as the primary development environment.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into the client’s existing development team and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Use OpenAI Codex to generate, review, and refine code across front‑end, back‑end, and infrastructure layers.
• Maintain architectural oversight of large, multi‑file systems while ensuring AI‑generated code meets quality standards.
• Design and iterate AI‑first development workflows from specification to deployment.
• Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines and perform disciplined human‑in‑the‑loop validation for safety‑critical components.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software development experience.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Deep hands‑on experience with OpenAI Codex for AI‑driven code generation.
• Proven ability to translate complex product requirements into AI‑friendly specifications.
• Strong curiosity for emerging AI‑native engineering practices and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
