Tech Lead (Go, Python, React, Azure)

About the role

We are seeking a Tech Lead to drive the migration of a Real‑World Data platform for medical imaging from a legacy Golang system to a modern Python‑based architecture on Azure. The role combines hands‑on development with strategic technical leadership in a remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration and re‑architecture of legacy Golang services into a scalable Python ecosystem.
• Write high‑quality, performant code and contribute to core development tasks.
• Define and own the Azure cloud architecture roadmap, ensuring scalability, reliability and compliance.
• Guarantee that the platform meets healthcare data standards (HIPAA, GDPR) and DICOM requirements.
• Provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews and promote best‑practice architecture standards.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional Python development experience, building backend systems and data pipelines.
• 5+ years designing and deploying scalable solutions on Azure.
• Proven experience leading a major system migration or full re‑architecture.
• 3+ years working with Data‑as‑a‑Service or high‑volume data platforms.
• Strong understanding of React for front‑end integration.
• Advanced English communication skills.
