Python Engineer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Join FullStack's talent network as a Python Engineer and work remotely with U.S. clients on flexible, project‑based assignments. You will become an integral part of the client’s development team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments using Terraform and Helm.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and ensure code quality.
• Work with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to large, complex systems.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot challenging issues, and contribute to shared libraries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience with one or more Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Hands‑on experience with Docker or similar container tools.
• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm) and CI/CD.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams and large, complex systems.
• Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail.
