Senior QA Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead end‑to‑end test strategy for complex software products. The role combines strategic quality advisory with hands‑on execution to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern comprehensive multi‑layer test strategies covering UI, API, and performance testing.
• Identify and assess product risks, prioritising testing on critical business functionalities.
• Oversee the defect lifecycle, ensuring rigorous tracking, communication, and resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering leads and product managers to align quality goals with project roadmaps.
• Define and refine QA processes and standards to improve team velocity and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of quality excellence.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies.
• Strong experience in team leadership and managing the defect lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of risk‑based testing methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
