IT Operations Engineer (6‑month contract)

About the role

Applaudo is seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer for a 6‑month contract. You will manage end‑to‑end enterprise IT services, ensuring reliability, security, and rapid response in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including identity governance, conditional access, security groups and SSO provisioning.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle with Microsoft Intune – device compliance, MDM enrollment, OS patching and hardware coordination.
• Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities using Microsoft Defender.
• Maintain enterprise VPN (NordLayer or equivalent) and enforce geographic access policies.
• Administer Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Box, Tango, Adobe) and manage licenses, shared mailboxes and distribution lists.
• Provide Salesforce user administration, field configuration, Flow debugging and integration support.
• Handle IT tickets in FreshService, meeting SLA targets for response and resolution.
• Execute onboarding/offboarding workflows across Entra ID, Salesforce, UKG, Box and Smartsheet, including credential rotation.
• Coordinate security operations with Arctic Wolf alerts and manage shared credential vaults via 1Password.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations or senior systems administration.
• Proven ability to work independently with strong documentation habits.
• Excellent English communication for collaboration with US stakeholders.
