SAP BODS Developer – Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with deep expertise in SAP Data Services (SAP BODS) to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration and transformation solutions. The role involves close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high‑quality data pipelines that support enterprise‑wide analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SAP Data Services and other integration tools.
• Build, enhance, and optimise data pipelines for transformation, cleansing, enrichment, and migration across multiple platforms.
• Improve ETL job performance, scalability, reliability, and error‑handling capabilities.
• Develop and optimise complex SQL queries and perform database performance tuning.
• Provide production support, including troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Monitor data quality, integrity, and pipeline performance to ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate data requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Implement automation and continuous process improvements for operational efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint‑based development activities.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or in a related data integration role.
• Strong hands‑on experience in ETL development and enterprise data transformation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
