Math Expert – Design Challenging AI Problems (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for highly qualified mathematicians to create rigorous, deterministic math problems that test and improve reasoning in cutting‑edge AI models. The work is fully remote, part‑time, and supports the development of high‑quality STEM training data used by leading AI labs.

Key responsibilities

• Design advanced mathematical problems that are genuinely challenging for state‑of‑the‑art AI systems.
• Ensure each problem has exactly one verifiable correct answer.
• Write complete, verified solutions and clearly document the reasoning process.
• Produce outputs that are technically precise, reproducible, and well‑written in English.
• Collaborate with the data‑creation team to align problem difficulty with AI evaluation needs.

Required profile

• PhD students or graduates in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Strong research or industry experience involving mathematical modeling, proof‑based reasoning, applied or computational mathematics.
• Ability to design original, difficult problems that mirror real mathematical workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English.
