Corporate Treasury Senior Analyst

About the role

Syngenta is seeking a Corporate Treasury Senior Analyst to join its Finance Operations team in Montevideo. The role acts as a critical control and analytical bridge between front‑office trading activities and back‑office settlement, ensuring accurate treasury transaction processing across the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prepare daily, weekly and monthly FX exposure reports for all entities in the Americas.
• Analyze net positions, propose hedge actions and ensure hedge bookings comply with Group Treasury policies.
• Identify commodity exposure from new customer orders and broker‑initiated hedge unwinds.
• Execute month‑end treasury accounting tasks, including cash investments and intercompany loan postings.
• Maintain position data, reconcile trade confirmations and deliver actionable insights on FX exposure, hedging costs and unrealized gains/losses.
• Support internal and external audit requests related to treasury activities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in treasury operations, FX and hedging.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Proven capability to work with Treasury Operations, Finance teams and external counterparties.
• Understanding of treasury policies and risk‑management processes.
