About the role

SONDA is looking for an IT Support Technician to provide on‑site technical assistance at a client’s office in Montevideo. The role involves configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer equipment while ensuring hardware inventory is properly managed.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and commission PCs and laptops, including Windows OS installation.
• Create and deploy corporate imaging for hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, including VPN setup.
• Manage hardware stock (hard drives, RAM, peripherals) and handle equipment disposal.
• Assign multifunction printers and scanners based on requests.
• Inspect returned devices for redistribution.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education with a focus on IT.
• Previous experience in computer support.
• Proficiency with office tools such as Excel and Word.
• Initiative, commitment, and good interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Windows operating system installation and configuration.
