SOC 2 Associate Manager (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

Insight Assurance is seeking a SOC 2 Associate Manager to lead remote audit engagements for clients across Latin America. The role combines execution of SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 examinations and related security assessments with client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise IT audit engagements covering SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 and SOC for cybersecurity.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of technology controls and document findings.
• Communicate audit results and improvement opportunities to client management.
• Lead and mentor audit staff, providing performance feedback and training.
• Prepare weekly status reports and proactively flag potential issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity or MIS.
• Minimum 4 years of IT audit experience at a Big 4 or comparable consulting firm.
• Active or in‑progress certification such as CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or PCI QSA.

Required skills

• Experience with GRC and compliance automation platforms (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe).
